"A warm greeting"

“Lorna was always quick to respond to our enquiries and a warm greeting awaited us. The accommodation is in a lovely tranquil part of North Yorkshire with little or no noise and the most stunning of skies at night when there is no cloud cover. It has the best equipped kitchen I have ever used re utensils, crockery etc. It is within easy reach of the main east coast towns should you want a blast of sea air. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable stay.”

"Delightful"

“Breaday Gill is really wonderful.  Stylish, contemporary decor in a relaxing countryside setting.  Perfect. Lorna and Chris are so welcoming and know the area inside out so have plenty of great recommendations for dinner and sight-seeing.  We loved our time here and plan to come back.  Delightful.”

"Perfect location"

“We had a wonderful stay at Breaday Cottage.  Lorna was amazing with all the arrangements before we arrived and supplied excellent instructions. We were met by Chris, who was very welcoming and gave us suggestions of what to do in the surrounding area.  The cottage is fantastic - every little detail has been thought about and we didn't want for anything.  Perfect location out of the way of the noise of normal life and not far from Whitby, Robins Hood Bay or Scarborough for a day trip.  Also perfect for a trip to Dalby forest.”
